Moving...Again... T-4 Days

A few years ago I moved across the country from the lovely state of Florida.  In four days, back I go, and I'm so excited to wear sandals year round again!  I used to say that it is nearly impossible to get an elementary teaching job in Massachusetts.  Unfortunately, I have come to the conclusion that it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE.  Lots of bad luck and a few years later, and I still am not in the position I want.  School starts in Florida in a month, and times ticking...quick.   *Fingers-crossed* that I will get a K-2 teaching position within a few weeks.  I finally got smart for this move and hired a mover.  Being on the third floor of my apartment with no air conditioning, moving would be miserable.  And that is an understatement!  The movers will first move everything from my apartment.  Next they will move to this...

Here is my storage unit of teaching materials.  From this picture, it is hard to tell home much stuff is actually in there.  It's a 5x10 unit, with five feet packed full to the ceiling.  All this stuff will soon find a temporary home in a new storage unit.  And then I will have to do it all over again, but with a smile of course, as I move to my future classroom.

Tomorrow I'm taking a day off from packing because it is supposed to be 95 degrees.  Too hot to get anything done!  Sunday I hope to have two hours max left packing and cleaning.  Bright and early Monday morning the movers come.  What a whirlwind!  Two weeks ago I made the decision to move and its coming fast.  I'm so stressed that I can't sleep (which is the worst).  I can't wait until next week when I can relax and put my feet up!  Sunshine State here I come :)
